  • I meant 200kgs I used to haul Wood Shavings over from Rotorua using a 80cubic Metre(water line)capacity truck & trailer unit the most weight I'd ever get on was 7500 kilograms it was all kilned timber they were plaining so I may even be a little generous calling it 200 kilograms !

  • Kiln dried shavings would sure not weigh much so not everything is not always what it seems. I remember carting truckloads of fresh pine sawdust on my farm truck from Carters Riverhead Mill for our new sawdust loafing pad for our cows in winter. The truck had high sides on for silage and that filled up was an easy load.Thanks for picture and comments.
